What is a Double Pass RO system?
A Double Pass RO system uses two stages of reverse osmosis. The water produced in the first stage is sent to a second RO unit, further increasing the purity level of the final water.
In certain configurations, there may be an intermediate tank between the first and second pass, allowing for temporary storage and controlled feeding of the second stage.
How does the RO + EDI system work?
In this system, water first undergoes double reverse osmosis to remove most dissolved solids. Then, the EDI module acts as a final polishing stage, removing remaining ions through selective membranes, ion-exchange resins, and electric current.
