Commercial Water Softening System
Commercial Water Softening System
An efficient solution to reduce water hardness and protect pipes, equipment, and treatment systems.
Commercial water softening systems remove hard minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, through ion exchange resin. This process reduces water hardness and improves the performance of equipment and facilities.
Softened water is ideal as a pre-treatment step for reverse osmosis systems, helping to minimize scaling and increase treatment efficiency.
Technical Specifications
- Capacity range: 0.1 m³/h to 4 m³/h
- Material: 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, and FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic)
- Operating pressure: up to 100 psi
- Exchange capacity: 10K to 210K Grain
How it works
The system's resin absorbs calcium and magnesium ions present in the water and replaces them with sodium ions. When the resin reaches its maximum capacity, the system performs periodic regeneration with a brine solution to restore ion exchange efficiency.
Key Benefits
- Effective reduction of water hardness
- Less limescale formation in pipes and equipment
- Protection of heating, washing, and rinsing systems
- Longer lifespan for appliances and fittings
- Reduced need for maintenance and repairs
- Improved efficiency in water treatment systems
Applications
- Commercial applications
- Pre-treatment for reverse osmosis
- Protection of pipes and equipment
- Cleaning and washing systems
Summary
The commercial water softening system is a reliable solution for reducing water hardness, preventing scaling, and improving the performance of facilities and equipment in commercial applications.
